Meet the Bishop

Bishop Johnny C. Carrington Sr. started his walk with Christ in 1954 derailed in his salvation as an eleven year old boy as we all get at a young age. He spent some time in the world trying to find his way home as the protocol son looked for a different path. But, because of the love of Christ pulling his heart and soul he returned to Christ in May 1964 and has been fighting the good fight of faith every since. Bishop Carrington Sr. was born in Brooklyn New York. He came to Baltimore, Maryland in 1949 with his father and mother.

His father Bishop Paul W. Carrington started as minister in the church and became a pastor of his own church called Holy Temple Apostolic Faith. His father was later ordained as a Bishop. Hailing from the roots of a Bishop as Jeremiah hailed from the seeds of priests. Bishop Johnny C. Carrington Sr. home church here in Maryland was the Nazarene Temple Apostolic Faith located in East Baltimore Maryland in 1954. He married Betty Carrington in 1961 they were blessed with three sons and one daughter Johnny Carrington Jr. who is now also a Bishop at Zion Temple Fellowship Church, Timothy Carrington, Joann Jolley, and David Carrington. The other sibling are all involved in the ministry at different levels.

Lady Carrington is the wife of Bishop C. Carrington Sr. She is a Minister in the Springs of Refreshing Fellowship Church. She is the right hand of the Bishop. She assist with the churches marriage fellowship called the Covenant Keepers. She and the Bishop have been married for forty-two years this September. The couple ministers up and down the east coast with the Covenant Keepers Ministry.
